Arrival in Skardu

Arrive in Skardu and settle into your hotel. Take the day to rest, explore the town, and prepare for the trek ahead.

Skardu to Thally Broq via Yugo Valley

Drive through the scenic Yugo Valley, stopping to admire its lush landscapes and traditional Balti villages. Continue to Thally Broq, where you'll set up camp and enjoy the serenity of the highlands.

Trek to Thally La Pass Base Camp (4300m)

Begin your ascent towards the base camp with a 5-6 hour trek through rugged mountain trails. Stop at Mir Khan for lunch before reaching the high-altitude campsite, surrounded by breathtaking peaks.

Cross Thally La Pass to Shigar Side Base Camp

Hike up to the pass, traversing a dramatic landscape of glaciers and rocky ridges. Descend towards the Shigar Valley, where you'll camp amidst pristine alpine scenery

Trek to Shigar Valley and Return to Skardu

Complete the final leg of the trek, descending into Shigar Valley, known for its lush orchards and historic forts. Drive back to Skardu for a well-earned rest.
